Logan Jay Dalpias

Our wonderful friends Lauren and Jay D Dalpias gave birth to a handsome little boy on October 19, 2011. He was 1 lb 5 oz and 12.5". Unfortunately, he came about 3 1/2 months early. He was very excited to meet his loving parents. They named him Logan Jay Dalpias. Logan was such a sweet spirit that he did not need to endure this life here on earth. Heavenly Father needed him a lot more. Logan Jay returned to his Heavenly Father on October 24, 2011. Words cannot express how much little Logan has influenced our lives with his short time on this earth. We love you guys and are praying for you everyday.

Haidyn 21 Month Firsts!

Haidyn is 21 months old already! She has done a lot of new things this month! Her hair has been growing so fast lately and was taking on the baby-mullet style... so I decided to have my mom give her a trim to help it along. Here's some pics of her first hair cut. She thought she was so big! :)

Chase started a fall flag football league on the base. Haidyn and her little friends decided to join the team!

So a back story on this pic- A few months ago, we bought Haidyn this little pink potty. She loved it. She carries it around with her and sings "potty, potty". We will also ask her if she needs to go potty and she will say "YA!" and run and sit on it. But..she doesn't understand that the potty is for actually going potty. So this last week while I was making dinner, Haidyn decided to play with her magnetic letters on the fridge. She would grab a handful, while singing, (she does everything while singing) and take them to who knows where, then come back for more and so on. I am used to her doing this so I didn't think anything of it. Well, the next morning, Chase got her up and while changing her, Haidyn said "I go potty" and she ran over all excited and sat on the potty. Chase waited for her to jump off without going like she usually does, but she actually went this time!! Chase called me in and we were so excited. Haidyn jumped off the potty and pointed with excitement to what was inside. We came over to see and found this little collection....................
Since this morning last week, Haidyn has not actually gone potty in the potty. We are thinking that the only way to get her to go again is by putting an exciting object in the bowl... this should be an interesting potty training experience!! :)
